This is a style quilt block that I made a quilt from, using left over squares as country points and blocks that were the same width.  I had a black fabric with white daisies as the background for each of the light colored country points, but for this glass sample I used a translucent fill.   It would work for glass too.  There will be some fold lines, so a frame of zinc or wood would be necessary.

i used random size stripes and about 42 blocks in my quilt.
