I have difficulty figuring out what this mayan symbol (for the letter 13 in the tzolkin calendar) means in terms of a glyph. The symbolism is beyond me, but I used all manner of green stained glass to fill the basic round part of this design and browns to represent a kind of "pod"  and roots.  I find it very curious that the word "ben" may also mean "child"  or perhaps in some distant way, progeny, similar to the hebrew word "ben".... Is this coincidence?  Stained glass pattern sent as a black and white pattern by email after purchase.  Hopefully all 20 of these tzolkin calendar figures can be made before the end of  2012.
