Interfaith pattern for the three major monotheisms.  Its tough to be accepting of all the different human variations on what might otherwise be a really beautiful interrelated world.  Tolerance is acceptance of other ideas while maintaining a world view that all life is sacred, and intolerance does not include deliberate acts of violence against anyone and that rational co-existence requires mutual respect.
