This pattern of poppies and poppy pods and buds was originally made to be used at more than two feet in diameter.  If you make this too small then the center stamens of the poppy will be too small to handle.  It is a great pattern for those who like california poppies.  It is also a great way to use the tiny shards of left over yellows and orange glass that you have stashed away for later use... these can be used as the stamens.
