Stained glass pattern from the ruins at the pool of Bethesda (Bethsaida) in ancient Israel.  Taken from photos from the internet, this composit shows that in fact it must have been a spectacular place to go.  Remember the story of the man who was lame and couldn't get to the waters (no longer here in the pool) when they were "troubled" by the messenger.   This is just a portion of the original pattern (not yet posted).
