Fun flag to cross stitch on a table cloth or placemat or gift card to celebrate the US flag for memorial day, or to give to a veteran, or war hero.  This cross stitch is made from a jpg of the original stained glass pattern which can be found under category for FLAGS and STAMPS on this site, clicking HERE.  I have made suggestions of several variegated flosses to mimic the stained glass effect in the counted cross stitch pattern.  Of course your choices are always preferable.  The pattern is 4.5 x 5.8 when worked on 14 count aida cloth.  There are 6 variegated flosses, plus white for the stars and stripes, and navy blue for the outlines.  Pattern is supplied as a pdf file (three page color, with actual size pattern, an enlarged pattern for easier reading with a 1 inch grid for easier counting, and a third page with the floss numbers and a line diagram of where the colors go.  Pattern is sent after purchase, by separate email as an attachment.
