This can be made for the garden with overlapping petals and leaves, or it can be made as a traditional copper foil panel for stained glass, hosta flower, water lily and some other kind of snow drop like flower (bigger than life size) with lily leaves are the basis of this floral stained glass pattern.  The entire right side of this is open, no framing, and no glass and the top and left are partly open as well. The stability comes from the left hand fence post. I would presume that reinforcement at the bottom would be metal and wood.  A variation might be to actually use wood on the left... for the fence post, then solder the piece to hooks or wire driven into the wood.
