Daisy petals and jewels for the center of this stained glass flower pattern in a round format.  Enlarge this pattern to fit the jewels you pick out for the center.  I would just get a round jig (a plastic lid or something that fits the size you ultimately want) and place the jewels in and move them around till you are happy with the smallest space between them you can get, then copper foil them in that position, and tack it with solder, then remove the plastic (don't burn it with hot solder), and place this in the center of your glass) ... alternatively, solder up the entire piece leaving the holes until the last. (dont get the jewels dirty, or you will have great difficulty putting on the copper foil. 

Actually this would make a fun mosaic piece.
