I was making a chess board quilt for my grandson and i thought that some icons for chessmen would be kind of nice to use and then I got the idea that there are likely a lot of chess players out there that also do stained glass.  Here is a "game" in progress, a pattern with chessmen icons, and positions that can be made as a fairly large stained glass panel.
