Dimensional look with the diamonds in this Ohio star stained glass (and quilt block) pattern.  There are four variations to the pattern with an intersecting 45 degree turn to define the nine patch in a repeating Ohio star quilt pattern in the center.  The way this is colored leaves four flowers in the four corners of the larger pattern.  Color of your fabric or stained glass means everything here and this panel cannot be made small otherwise the pieces will be too little to handle.  Any quick print store (or I can as well) help you enlarge to the point that the squares and diamonds are a comfortable size for you. The diamond intersecting the center square at 45 degrees (and in the border) helps prevent the pattern from having fold lines.

If you make this as 12 inches x 12 inches the squares are just under one inch... (which for me would be too small).
