A different border on this same peacock gives the panel a totally different feel than the other peacock patterns. This has at least 250 pieces, and thought the border looks difficult, its really not, I know because I have made one like it. There is grinding to do for the pieces around the jewels. An alternative...if you are really good at soldering, would be to not grind the pieces around the jewels, and to fill that with solder. A third alternative is to use straight pieces of glass between the jewels and completely cover them with copper foil, and they will look like flat areas of solder. This window needs to be made in a dimension of something arond 30 inches, which makes the inner border pieces, half an inch wide.
