Rainbow brains is actually a really gorgeous technique of fluorescence microscopy, but I am making a cartoon here of rainbow brains, referring not to the neural circuitry that is shown by using many colored fluorescent tags, but a tongue in cheek about how rigidly we keep our memories and our prejudices in our heads..... The blue boxes and the red boxes and the yellow boxes.  But this is still a great way to show tribute to the technique and would be a great stained glass pattern for a school room, or to give to a neuroanatomy professor.
