Good grief, who would want this pattern except an egyptologist or an avid log cabin quilter.  I saw this in a biblical archaeology book and couldn't wait to make this pattern.  Here is a mummified cat, accompaning no doubt a wonderful person into the afterlife, and the linen wrapping looks just like the log cabin quilt pattern.  Therefore I was compelled by curiosity to make this into a quilt-cat-stained glass pattern.  It wont be for the faint of heart, as there are many many pieces, though they can be cut much like a strip quilter cuts long strips of fabric.  I didn't pseudocolor the equilt blocks in, but how much fun will it be to choose those wonderful blends of glass that have small pieces left over from other stained glass projects.  Cant wait to send this pattern to someone who will make it up then send a picture to me.  This pattern is free (email me before checkout or the deal is off) and I will send it to the first two people who ask for it free.
