I would say this is not a pattern for beginners, but one for the person who doesn't mind grinding out rounded pieces.  I put in lots of cutlines for raggedy anns hair but the face (where nose and eyes and mouth should be painted in with paint) is going to be a tough cut. 

I tried to put cut lines in her face but it just made her look mad.... so paint is probably the best option for the details of raggedy anns face. 

right now she makes me smile, hopefully she will make your child or granddaughter smile as well.
