 silk painting from stained glass pattern
Darren Sanderson has painted on silk. It's done on standard white Silk Pongee from the fabric/craft store, tensioned onto a frame so that it's all nice and even. The lines are done in a black goop called Gutta, which blocks the paint from running. Once the outline is done it's like paint by numbers with water based silk paints :) . The pattern is HERE.
