Marilyn Cline created this stained glass mosaic on sandstone as a trail-marker or front yard decoration for a friend. Mosaic is a reasonable description of the process, except that one has a pattern to follow. This stone was arizona sandstone but any flat stone you can find will work, according to her, but she says sometimes finding the stone is the biggest challenge to the project.
