Rebecca Lewis did a great job of soldering this sun burst piece, and the brass patina looks great. Her lamp below is really nice also, with a nice choice of contrasting colors. She did a great job of photographing her pieces too. Panel below in a great wooden frame was Rebecca's gift to a sister (lucky sister indeed)

Rebecca's brother got this great gift (2007). The panel has that great "retro" image which is what she had planned. The beer mug, beer color and foam are fantastic. Her father's frame makes the whole thing a great work. I will custom adapt this pattern with your name, just ask me --- marian@pdqpatterns.com

This panel was made by MM for a carousel horse lover (like me). While I haven't made more than one carousel horse, I have a folder which has images of those famous old Illions and Philadelphia Toboggan Company and Mueller horses, and I would love if someone out there requested a specific pattern based on one of these wonderful old sculptures. The horses, for instance, from the carousell at Santa Monica Pier, or Griffith Park or Coney Island. I actually have a partially carved body block of a wooden horse in my basement which I am slowly making into a standing carousel horse. Just ask for a custom pattern. |
